Stock TigerRichard Crockett is the publisher of StockTiger.net that features a daily video on break out (or break down) stock candidates. He also publishes a comprehensive weekend market newsletter. Many of the stock candidates can become swing trades or longer-term holds, but they start with the idea of buying on a break out over resistance (or shorting on a break down below support). It is suggested to take at least partial profits on the same day — sometimes within the first minutes or hours. Then you can set stops, so that winning trades do not turn into losing ones if the stock reverses direction.
The best success for break outs often comes when the volume of the stock is above the usual volume. It is not hard to determine this, as yahoo.com and other site publish the average daily volume for most stocks. The website also has a user forum, active chat room, free streaming charts, and many mechanical trading charts already set up for use, as well as many tools and much information to assist you in your daily trading.
Richard had a private market chat room for several years before opening it to the public. It is now in the 5th year of service. Beside the daily posting there, intraday comments and charts can be viewed on Twitter and on the official suggested stream at stocktwits.com. Richard was given a recommendation from them as being "knowledgeable and trustworthy." He is also a recipient of the stockcharts.com Hall of Fame. His posts are also available on Facebook.
